Faith integration is a vital part of our curriculum and co-curricular life. Weekly chapels, daily devotions, and regular prayer time are central to student life at Sheboygan Lutheran, grounding every school day in God's Word.

Faith Woven Into Every Day

Weekly Chapel

Students gather each week for worship, prayer, and teaching that points them to Christ. Each week features a different guest pastor or speaker.

Daily Devotions

Every school day opens with time in God’s Word, a small habit that shapes a lifetime of faith.

Four Years of Theology

From Old and New Testament to Christian Leadership, theology coursework runs through all four years, not set apart from the rest of a student’s education.

Prayer Locker

Students, families, and staff can submit prayer requests any time, a simple way the whole Crusader community carries each other’s burdens.

The Faith Walk Project

Over four years, every SLHS student builds a portfolio exploring and expanding their own faith journey, from the questions they’re asking as freshmen to the convictions they’re ready to carry into whatever comes next as seniors. It’s less a school assignment and more a record of a student owning their faith as their own.

Living Out Faith in Service

Vocational Hours

Our vocational hour program instills a Christian mindset of service to others, put into practice long before graduation.

Service Day

Once a year, the whole school steps out of the classroom for a school-wide day of community service.

Student-Led Ministry

Students carry faith into leadership through Crusader Leadership Cohort, InterACT Club, National Honor Society, and Student Council, serving their school, their supporting congregations, and their community.

Why Spiritual Life Matters

Our desire is that every SLHS graduate will:

Know Christ’s love and their identity as His child
Carry a biblical worldview into whatever comes next, college, the trades, ministry, or the military
Live out their faith through service and leadership, not just in the classroom
Be equipped to proclaim their faith to others beyond SLHS
